Pickup Assemblies, the best of all worlds.
Transform your guitar, with 8 screws, and 2 wires.

Pickup Assemblies are the heart of a guitar's sound. They are the easiest way to transform your guitar. Pickups and other components are assembled on the pickguard and wired, a balanced system, for easy installation with 8 screws and 2 wires.
All of my pickups have large diameter steel poles, and are taller than the originals. More iron and copper gives a "bigger" and "smoother" sound.
I have two types of pickup assemblies, non-tapped (the way it has been), and tapped (gives 3 pickup voicings). Tapped coils have been around forever in general electrical use. When I was repairing guitars in the 70’s, I was constantly asked to rewind pickups hotter. But some people wanted to also keep the bright sound available, tapped coils do that.
Model S is a non-tapped assembly, simple, basic, and familiar. 3 pickups, 5-position switch, Volume and Tone.
Model TSS53 is a tapped assembly, has 3 pickup voicings. 3 pickups, 5-position switch, Volume, Tone, and rotary Tap switch. Also has a T bridge pickup instead of an S.
Model TSS3T has 3 3-position tap switches, one for each pickup.
I think of the taps like this: The middle tap is “just right”. I set the amp for this. And, as we all know, there are always times in music for “more”, and “less”. On a switch. Changes the whole texture and tone.
The volume and tone controls are modified for even taper and tone. The tone control affects a narrower band, that is different on all 3 taps. Gives a good midrange, without hunting for a spot. Does all commonly used sounds, and it’s own voice.

It seems no one has just one guitar anymore, but with this, you could, "do it all with one guitar"
